I was struggling with smoking cessation when Christine and I started our coaching sessions. With Christine's help I was able to stop smoking and have been smoke free since 7/5/24 which has improved my overall health and wellbeing. Christine was very encouraging and helpful in this process. She helped me set realistic and attainable goals and held me accountable for reaching the goals I set for myself. I would recommend her coaching to anyone in need of making life changes to improve their health and wellbeing.

Working with Melanie was an incredible experience. Her exceptional presence created a safe space that allowed me to be completely myself and explore my thoughts freely. Her attentive presence made me feel truly heard and understood. Throughout our time together, she guided me through challenges and helped me discover parts of myself I hadn’t fully known. With her support, I accomplished goals that made me proud. I am deeply grateful for the growth I experienced during our sessions and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking personal development. Thank you again!!

My coaching sessions with Christine were beneficial. She is a wealth of knowledge to assist with grief counseling and so thankful to have been her client!
Thank you!

Practicing Mindfulness Sessions with Melanie was such a great experience! Her words have a way of taking you to a place far away from where you are. I normally have such a hard time focusing on mindful meditation but the sound of Melanie's voice just relaxes you and makes you forget about anything else going on. When she describes a setting, I actually feel like I'm there. Her words are so descriptive that I can actually hear the sounds of the beach, the music around, the people and any sounds of nature. When the meditation is over, I have a hard time returning back to reality! Melanie is the absolute best and would recommend her if you want to have a moment to transform your reality to a peaceful dream even if for a couple of minutes!

Christine was my first partner in mindfulness. I was extremely nervous our first session! I had little to no experience with mindfulness let alone doing it with someone else. Christine is very easy to speak with and taught me a lot about mindfulness! By the time we got to our last session I was much more at ease! Thank you for guiding me on my mindfulness journey!!!

My name is Annetta Cox. Melanie Olivieri was my assigned Mindfulness peer from the Nurse Coach program. Melanie guided me through mindfulness exercises with a welcoming and patient approach. At the beginning of our sessions I had expressed to her my doubts about how impactful or effective mindfulness would be for me and my hesitation with how effective I could be as a coaching professional of mindfulness sessions with others.
Throughout our sessions, Melanie was fully engaged and offered guidance that helped me reach a place of serenity. Her support fostered a sense of calmness and also gave me the confidence to believe I could be a great mindfulness Nurse Coach as well.
Sincerely,
Annetta Cox MSN, RN, VA-BC, CCST
Christine has a beautiful knack for guided imagery. During our mindfulness practice together she would always ask me what I needed, then pause and then deliver an almost otherworldly experience. Through Christine's words, I was able to go inward and find moments of complete peace. I would highly recommend Christine to anyone looking to explore mindfulness practice like they never have before.

Melanie,
1. I have been trying to lose weight and get healthier. You have given me many ideas to improve my journey to a healthier me such as deep breathing, keep moving, drinking more water, keeping an exercise log and more. 2. I really enjoyed working with you. You are very easy to talk to. You make me think of things differently. Instead of saying I should do something I will say I can do that and do it. 3. By using deep breathing in the way you showed me has helped me when I am nervous, anxious and or stressed. I am moving more and feeling better for it. I have slowly been losing more weight with your encouragement. 4. This process has taught me to put in the work to be a better me. I have learned to work through my limitations to reach my goals. It has been a pleasure to work with you. 5. I would recommend you to anyone that I know who would need the kind of excellent coaching you can provide. I have learned a lot during this process with you.

I have always led a hectic lifestyle between my job and my family. Because of that, I have extreme anxiety. Christine is a godsend. She listens and helped me come up with alternate ways of looking at things, focus on the good and not so much the negative.
In the time I have worked with Christine, I feel a little more focused and in control of my anxiety. I take things one day at a time, one problem at a time then move-on to tackle the next situation. Taking a few deep breaths along the way helps too!
I would highly recommend Christine to anyone!

Before working with you, I was anxious and trying to find the right tools to deal with stress and reacting to what my partner was or wasn't doing. I was struggling with my reaction to what others were doing. My house is undergoing some remodeling, so the fact that there wasn't any plan to continue with getting the house in shape also stressed me out. Melanie and I talked through a bunch of problems and she helped me develop new tools to keep in my 'toolbox.' I have been using these tools to take a step back and assess the situation and then react. It is important to take a step back before responding. I am still a work in progress, but Melanie helped me get into a better mindset with a better understanding on how to calm my emotions when life gets tough.

I started seeing Christine two months after one if the most difficult times in my life. My teenage daughter decided to move out and go live with my parents, which absolutely devastated me. Looking at her closed bedroom door destroyed me every morning. Since working with Christine, I have done a complete 180. I actually recently cleaned her room out without a mental breakdown.
From the moment I walked into her office I was completely at ease. As soon as we started talking, I felt like I had known her my whole life. I love that she never once made me feel judged or bad about myself. You could genuinely feel that she cared.
Not only did she help get me through the pain of my daughter leaving but she also helped me deal with my social anxiety. She also taught me to be proud of even the smallest wins.
I truly feel happier and more confident than I ever have. I never would have even considered going to the movies or even out to dinner by myself before Christine and now doing those- kind of things excite me.
I would highly recommend Christine to anyone who is struggling in life no matter what it is. I look forward to continuing to use the tools she gave me and better my life even more. I will forever be grateful to Christine for helping me find joy in life again!

Melanie is a talented coach. She is intuitive and always knew when I was holding back. During our time together, I initially sought her coaching for developing my professional practice, where we went was far more meaningful. Melanie guided me as I explored my relationships and what I truly wanted in life. Her years of nursing and massage therapy are evident in the way she established a trusting and holistic relationship with me. I would highly recommend Melanie's coaching service to anyone looking to peel back the layers and find ways to live more abundantly.
Thanks again for everything!

Before Christine and I began our sessions together many changes had occurred in my life. My husband and I were “empty nesters” and not very communicative. I had suffered some very debilitating illnesses putting an increase burden on him. My daughter and her husband moved home from the west coast and back into our home, bringing along a baby and four animals, as well as all their belongings. This, along with my extra needs has created high levels of stress.
After beginning my sessions with Christine, I was more able to reflect on my reactions to issues that arose. Allowing me to approach my concerns in a more open and reasonable way. This improved my relationships and allowed myself and my family to resolve issues calmly. Ultimately decreasing the overall stress in the home.
Christine provided me with a comfortable, safe environment. I was able to exchange feelings, ideas, and possible solutions to my concerns. She provided feedback, suggested “homework” and allowed me time to incorporate new responses. This allowed me time to adjust my reactions and behaviors in a healthy way.
I looked forward to my sessions with Christine. She provided me with different perspectives on situations this allowed me to learn and adjust my responses.
I would highly recommend Christine to family and friends. She has a kind and caring approach while allowing her client to come to their own resolutions.
Sincerely, Mary K. Fahey. New York
I had recently lost my job of about 10 years. I was very eager to find my next position - although in retrospect, I probably needed a few months to recover from my last position. However, I was diligently looking and applying for jobs but not having any luck. The frustration of first losing my job and second not having an immediate backup job was getting to me.
It was summertime in Buffalo and I also wanted to be able to enjoy the warmer weather. Melanie encouraged me to step away from my desk and get on my paddleboard, visit my mom who has dementia and take a more balanced approach to finding my next career path. We talked about manifesting and I recall one time when I was particularly frustrated that I hadn't accomplished all I wanted to, my sister and my mom unexpectedly called me and we went to lunch. I was reluctant to go to lunch because my focus was elsewhere. Melanie pointed out that I just mentioned I wanted to see my mom more often and I manifested this lunch date. I went and had a great time.
It was a good experience. I liked that she was invested in seeing me be successful, content and happy.
I was able to take a more balanced approach to my job search and just a few weeks after our time together was done, I was offered a 4-6 month contract position! I don't believe it is my be-all-end-all job, but I am back in the game, contributing and getting a paycheck. One priority I had was to make sure that I took advantage of this time off. It's not usual that a person has 5 months to work on self-improvement - in the summer no less. I didn't want to start a new position and feel like I didn't make the most of my time off.
I am more than my prior position and I deserve success and happiness.
I would recommend this service to anyone going through a significant life change and trying to adjust to a new reality.
Thanks so much for your time, Melanie!
Maureen
My time with Christine was very eye opening and encouraging, right off the bat I found out that this would be a different experience than that of counseling in the simple fact that counselors are more so for telling patients what to do or just being there to listen, where as coaching allows you to express your needs and concerns and what you are looking for, and what you are trying to change or work on and having you be in charge to make that happen with the guidance and support of Christine.
Before coming to Christine I was struggling with finding time to just relax and be okay with myself, I also struggled with boundaries and relationships, and being too hard on myself. Christine helped me to teach me to have grace and the importance of self care and taking that time to unwind and do what is Jennifer Livermore important for me and not worrying so much about pleasing everyone else. I loved that she was able to bring out in me some of the tools I have learned through my years and to begin applying them in my everyday life. I also was extremely grateful to her for explaining to me how not everyone can meditate and see what is being said to envision that some people are more prone to being able to mediate with touch or smell, She also helped me to ask myself the deep questions of what will happen if it doesn't get done, and it was clear nothing will happen.
I would definitely recommend Christine as she is a caring and compassionate coach who wants to see her clients succeed and be happy and loves to encourage them to apply what they learn to everyday life. I am very grateful and blessed by the opportunity that I was given .

Since my coaching sessions with Melanie, I have experienced a significant shift in my mindset, overall well-being, and clarity. I’ve learned tools that help me manage challenges with greater ease and confidence.
Working with Melanie has been an incredibly positive and supportive experience. I really appreciated her approach which was both compassionate and insightful. Melanie created a space where I felt safe to explore my thoughts and emotions without judgment. Some of the benefits from our coaching sessions include: improved self-awareness, and the development of a healthier balance between my personal and professional life.
Through this process, I have learned how to approach challenges, set boundaries and prioritize what is important in my life.
I would recommend Melanie’s coaching to anyone who feels overwhelmed, or unsure of their next steps. Anyone looking to improve their personal life, career, or overall mindset will benefit from Melanie’s coaching.

I have been running a wellness practice out of my home for the past 10 years. Working from home has it's pros and cons and parts of it can be very stressful.
That stress was making me feel stuck in certain areas. Especially housework. Everyone and every THING was demanding my attention. I was overwhelmed and felt like a candle whose flame was about to get snuffed out.
Working with Christine helped me to take time for myself again when it felt like I had no time and create healthy boundaries.
Those moments for myself increased my energy which overflowed into my work days. Even my clients noticed a change!
She helped me to break things down into bite size pieces and made me realize I can do anything for just five minutes. That five minutes didn't leave things perfect, but it left them "better" than they were before.
I was amazed at how quickly it had a snowball effect on the entire household as well as my business.
Christine has made me feel empowered and in control again. She has a calm, nurturing energy and is so easy to talk to. I felt heard and am so very grateful to her.

Before working with Melanie, I was feeling stuck. I needed/wanted help with motivation to exercise. It’s important to me to improve my health, especially as I look towards retiring.
I find Melanie’s approach: actively listening and gently nudging me by asking questions that allowed me to think and see possible solutions and actions myself.
I appreciate her informal sessions which I’m sure others will too. Encouraging a relaxed environment to bring solutions that come from within.
Having a coach guide me toward my own inner wisdom is pretty great.

I have known Christine for several years. I jumped at the chance to be a part of her journey to become a nurse coach. I am so very glad I did. It’s challenging to look inward and talk about myself. Christine made it extremely comfortable and I learned more about myself. Christine listens actively and asked hard questions to help me unlock what stops me from becoming my best self. One question she asked has since stuck with me and I have asked myself that question over again when I find myself trying to make a difficult decision. It makes me pause and determine if I want to continue moving forward or chose a new path. Christine is an extraordinary caring person who is extremely dedicated to helping others. She is a respected, trustworthy, confident person who will be very successful on her journey to being the best nurse coach. I would recommend Christine over and over again!

A better question would be, “what WASN’T going on in my life” before I began working with Melanie. I have been “getting by” with all the life events happening but I knew I was in survival mode, doing what I could just to make it through the day, week, or month. Between what my adult kids are dealing with, one being trans: one having suicidal ideation as a form of attention, one wanting to pursue college, and one working to make it on his own in another state, having my husband’s mother move in with us and all the hurdles that entails, as well as having parents of an age that the end of life is sooner rather than later, I was struggling. Granted, none of these issues have been resolved, nor do I see I resolution in the foreseeable future for any of them, with the exception of my parents’ passings, which I am not manifesting and that would bring a new set of stressors to my life; Melanie has been a Godsend in helping me process each issue and helped me to break down each issue into manageable bits. I am better able to see a situation for what it is and instead of a cause/effect reaction, I am able to choose not only if I react, but how I choose to react. I am very much a worrier, a “what-if?” worrier, and that is just not helpful in any of these situations. I am slowly getting to the point where I can calm myself before bed so that sleep does not evade me as it used to, and I am less likely to jump to a conclusion for any given issue. Breathing, grounding, reframing have all become a part of my daily life as things continue to go on as they usually do. It is not without hiccups, but it is smoother than it has been in a while.
I appreciate how Melanie listens, there is no judgement, maybe a slight clarification question or two but she listens until I am done spewing whatever has me up in arms that day. Then she helps me break it down into manageable chunks, so it is not so overwhelming. If my reaction to a situation was not ideal, ok, how would you go back and change your reaction? How can we change the narrative now, so you stop beating yourself up over said reaction? She also reminds me of my progress in this entire process. I tend to see only the negative and my poor response to whatever situation; she reminds me about how much has changed since we began working together. Just like going to the gym, you may not see the results but be consistent and suddenly, you realize you are stronger, leaner, and fitter than you were when you began.
I am slowly, and I mean slowly!!, understanding that I am a stronger person than I thought, and that I am fully capable of handling the situations being thrown my way. Yes, it seems like there is a lot to take on at once but much of it is my approach to each of the situations. Instead of trying to “fix” everything, I can view it and allow it to happen as it needs to happen. And, in all honesty, some things are just not for me to “fix” or “manage.” I am but a mere observer for what is happening in my children’s lives. Sure, I can assist them when I am able, but ultimately, their choices are their own. There has been a lot of work forgiving what has happened in the past and allowing that inner child/young adult to heal and know that it is ok to move forward from that event. I know that I need to do more work with my inner child/young adult, but she is a bit more willing to work with me now than she was before.
I appreciate the fact that Melanie can include mindfulness, meditation, along with practical information in a unique way that allows me to understand how each of these things work for me. I would recommend Melanie to anyone who feels that there is just so much going on in their lives that it is overwhelming them to the point of not dealing with anything. She has helped me to feel more grounded and to remember my breath before acting upon my thoughts or emotions. It is a very nice balance between metaphysical and mundane.
